Recently Lake Tahoe approved a 10 year plan to make amendments to Heavenly, they will be continually making improvements to the resort. One of these improvements includes the building of a building called the Powderbowl Lodge. It is a skier bridge that can seat up to 950 people. They are also introducing two new trails, the Skyline Trail and the Skiways Glades and these are 10% steeper than any of the other trails on offer at the moment. They also have a fleet of low emission buses available and an environmentally friendly drainage system in place.
